Bringing the steering wheel closer

Are there any options to bring the wheel slightly closer to the seat?

If I get close enough to the wheel to really feel right, I’m too close to the pedals. I’m sitting as far back in the seat as I can, and can’t seem to find a perfect compromise.

Any ideas? Is there a spacer plate available, or i’ve heard the snap on wheel brings it closer by an inch or so?

The snap on hubs will bring the wheel an inch closer and depending on the dish in the wheel it may seem too close… Most aftermarket wheels are a bit larger 330-350…

What about spacers like these?

They say that you can use 2 together, which would bring the wheel closer by 40mm (and require aftermarket wheel I presume). Not sure about stacking the spacers though, but is it any worse than the snap on kit.

Is that why you chopped big lumps off yours?

I have used one of those spacers with the standard wheel to bring it 20mm closer. Big improvement for me. Just requires 4 of the holes in the spacer to drilled though to remove the thread, then some longer bolts. Make sure you get the right grade.

You know after your ragging I bought a nice new Sparco round wheel and I think it sucks compared to my thigh master blaster…

Will give that a try first, do you know what size bolts are needed?
