Hi Guys,

Our second in the race in the Exige was at Brands yesterday, hosted by AMOC. We were with two newer Exiges under ‘Team Lotus.’ My dad raced in Intermarques whilst i was in the Super GT race. We came 6th and 3rd respectively.

Since Snetterton we have had Ohlins fitted and the clamshells take mere seconds to take off now…

Are AMOC allowing Lotus into the Intermarque now?

So exiges are allowed into the intermarque race, i thought they were banned ?? can you run slicks in both races ? im tempted to have a go at the Oulton and Donnington meets later in the year

All very odd, if Englebert’s dad is racing an Exige (which he may not be!)in Intermarque

Now found the results - looks like they ARE allowing Lotus in Intermarque, presumably by invitation to get the grid sizes up:

Yes, Graham at Plans worked hard to get us in.

We are now allowed to race… but no engine conversions or anything modified enough to destroy the field…

The club allowed us in with no problems. On the day we were told by the organiser (who also races!) said it wasn’t fair and we were then Invitation only! After realising in Qualifying we weren’t the fastest, he relaxed and we were allowed back in officially again.
