Brands Hatch Thursday 27/05

Good day in the end, rained most if not all of the morning so not too many laps on the 888’s although not a bad tyre in the wet at all with no real moments of terror, although slow two cars went off in front of me causing red lights on road tryes! The sun came out strong after lunch and dried the track in no time. Downside was it turned really busy with red light after red light but on the whole it was never closed for more than 5 or 10 mins thanks to some good work by the marshals.

I’ve uploaded two clips, NA Rocks held its own BEA-Utifully. Found the car loads easier to heel and toe after JSRacing reset the throttle pedal. Kept up well with a couple of different black GT3’s, the big straights and lack of shove I guess my weakness. Had JP the Radical legend as my instructor for half the day, top man!

I couldn’t work out which gear made me quicker at Hawthorn, so stayed in forth as changing to third seemed to stress the engine loads for what seemed like no actual increase in overall speed…advice welcome on that please?

Brand 1 and Brands 2

Cool man.

Hawthorns is a stupidly fast corner, one of those that you always wish you had gone faster through, so I would stay in the higher gear, with a dab on the brakes as you turn in to get the front hooked up and then just clench your arse and go for it.

Cheers mate…I seem to have a bit of play on the brake pedal that I could do with getting rid of when you guys put the LSD in…nothing major!
