brand new exige - is this a good deal?

i understand that some good deals can be struck with dealers for brand new exiges.

i have haggled a deal for a brand new exige s with performance and touring pack in chrome orange with air conditioning. i got told that they couldnt go anything less than this price due to it not yet being registered so i would be the first owner and its not been a demo car or anything (this wouldnt bother me really though tbh). the list price was just over �42k but got him down to �35k.

does this seem like a good deal? what have other people got their brand new exiges for? i understand whiteysback got a very good deal but not sure of this was for an unregistered car.

�7k off seems good to me that’s got to be pretty near cost to the dealer at about 17% off when you exclude the vat

If you really want one new then I would say that is a very good deal you’ve got there. However be prepared to loose a further �5k the first year in depreciation. There are some good pre-registered examples about with low mileage for a similar price so to get that price brand new I think you’ve done very well
