AP Big Brake kit, EP ally bells and Pagid RS-14 at each corner. Stops like I’ve just deployed an anchor…
Always had RS14s on mine until the last refresh when I went with the PF01s. The pagids were great but there were occasions when there was some bad pad transfer. It didn’t cause me as many problems as others here as I seemed to be able to get it to clear up without resorting to a disk swap. The PF01s have been every bit as good for feel and stopping and haven’t had any issues apart from dirty wheels. I’ll be sticking with them for now.
Has anyone replaced the servo assisted S2 setup with a non servo master cyclinder setup? Would a K series master cylinder or any S1 master cylinder have the correct bore sizes?
I like the lazy servo assisted feel of the S2 and light pedal but to be honest I was always happy with my previous S1 non-servo stopping power.
The thought had crossed my mind about ditching the servo and ABS to loose some weight with no reduction in braking performance.
I run with the ABS disconnected all the time. I find the clouds of blue smoke a stealthy deterent for faster cars chasing me into the hairpins

Wes, I was going to ask the very same question!
Would a ‘K’ series setup be transferable to a Toyo car?
BTW… as an soon to be ‘ex’ ‘K’ driver, I resorted to blue oil engine smoke to achieve the same aim!
I know when I last spoke to Steve Guglielmi he recommended some new pads for my car (I’ve got the AP “Big Brake Kit” on my car).
For the life of me I cannot remember what they were. Is there anyone here that might know? Maybe someone that has been to see Steve?
If not, I’ll give him a call and find out, then post on here. I do remember him saying that the pads would work well with my set up and provide extremely good stopping power!
Am going through the better brakes required lark now. Shocking how bad the standard setup was.
Had Pagid 42’s on for fast road use for the last 15k+ & they’ve been great with standard discs. Done a couple of TD’s & a lot of fast Euro hooning with no problems apart from some squeal sorted by cleaning out the holes in the disks.
Got EBC Ultimax & new Pagids going on this Friday along with 1st MOT. A decent setup for fast road use according to SELOC & some Loti owning friends. Hope they are right.
