Bought my first Exige!
Not too worried. Add another 80bhp and I guess there are bound to be some issues, if it goes so be it. I’m enjoying the extra power too much for it to bother me

What clutch are you running in yours ade? Mine is still the standard unit, feels a little squishy so not sure it will last that long on the road with the 300bhp. Again though, if it goes I’ll look into using whatever the 260 cars are running.
I’m still on the standard clutch too and all seems okay - should be fine unless you are doing standing starts. Will be changing it though as soon as a gearbox solution is sorted

Not far away now for the gearbox, my car is off to JSRacing this week for its new gearbox and oil cooler system then I’ll be off to Spa for 2 days of testing its ability

Had the traction control light flickering again on the way in to work today, wont have chance to check the brake fluid level until I’m home on fiday. Is it possible that when the 300s engine conversion was done over at hangar 111 tc was added with the new ecu but no button to switch it off? It was a tad greasy on the roads and a 6k+ rpm launch just had the car bogging down with the tc light flicking. Still possible its the fluid levels though I suppose.

Sounds like you have TC to me, go test it on a gravel/dusty road.

Indeedy!

Have you asked previous owner/Hanger 111 for details of the work carried out?

I read that the Komotec map was some sort of port of the Lotus cup map (this could be totally untrue) however if the car the took the ecu from had TC fitted this could mean that all flashes end up with TC. My 211 mapped car now has TC and I am still to get the button retro fitted, so my TC is always on.
However I actually quite like it and so would leave it on even once the button is fitted, its already pulled me out of a spot on track and seems to do a good job on the road.

Boothy

Will give hangar 111 a call later to see if thats the case, sounds very plausable though. I will also prob leave it on for 99% of the time, would just be nice to have the option.

Agreed

Off … Off… Off…

I think I’ll fit in here just fine :stuck_out_tongue:

Or is that missfit in here?

Most seem to fit, if you can stand a load of “Tossers” you will be fine
