Boothy in totally flat shocker!

Sadly it was the battery

After the trackday the stereo packed up but I was not really bothered as it had been playing up for a while and I had already bought its replacement.
I thought it was odd the other day when I walked passed the garage and my phone tried to connect to my handsfree kit (go on S1 owners laugh away).
Any how, today I got to the car and it was so flat even Mike Wilds would of been impressed as the only sign of life was the LED frozen on the stack unit.
I figured I better get the old stereo out and fit the new one, however as with everything the nice easy job went nothing like to plan. Alpine in all their wisdom have changed the connection on the high speed ipod cable, the mic connection is different as is the aerial
The mic and the aerial should be simple to sort but Lotus build in the ipod lead by the looks of it and it looks like a barsteward to get out…
So I have left it in the garage with no stereo and I am having a beer!

Hmmmm just heard a big pop and all went dark, on switching back the RCD it seems my living room light transformer has blown up.
Time for another beer! at this rate I’ll be pi**ed tonight.

Good idea, best to empty the fridge before it stops working and the beer gets too warm.

LOL
