boot lid problem - maybe fixed?

boot lid kept opening by itself, the locking pin was rotating (through vibration?) and poor design means this then allows the boot to spring open.

so I lockite’d it in place… hopefully this will solve the issue?

anyone else experienced a similar problem?

Isn’t the locking pin threaded, and fitted with a big nut so you can simply tighten it up with a big spanner?
