Bolts or nuts?

Well as I am going to be removing all my wheels again before March, is it worth moving to the fixed stud and wheel nut combination? To me it does seem sensible, those stupid bolts with the torx heads are a pain and the tools do seems to break, are the stud bolt conbination ok with all wheels?
Seriously Lotus Linky

I’ve got them Ade and they work fine with all 4 sets of my wheels

As you say the std ones are $hit and bound to screw you at some point by breaking

might well be the way forwards then, I do quite detest those bolts

Studs dude.

ok so it seems to be studs and nuts, so what locktite do I need to hold them in?

Ade, agree that studs are the way forward.

The Elise parts kit comes with threadlock, not sure which spec it is.

I looked at this option a while ago (when I had a car!) and I’m pretty sure that the studs are the same thread as any of the corsa/ astra rally stud kits.

Ask John @ JSR - he did mine

Yeah Studs and nuts are deffo the way forward.

Nuts? Who mentioned nuts?

Red Locktite

Thanks

The stud kit that I supply comes complete with thread lock…
