Car back from dealer after coolant hose refixed. Still overheating and my friendly AA chap says the gasket is gone. Presuming it will be done under warranty though have read that could have caused excessive early engine wear and damage to catalytic converter. All sounds like it could be a bit serious. After the multitude of problems I had with my last exige I was surprised to have a trouble free year with this one, but seems like I am paying for it now. Just waiting for the low loader to arrive. Have to say I have been impressed with Lotus assist even though they sent out a van rather than low loader initially. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Heres hoping for the best.
