BIG favour needed

Hi All,

I am now seriously considering an Exige S2.

It will be an everyday car, but will only cover about 100 miles a week max.

The issue I have is the new flat I’m moving into, theres a whopping great speed bump upon entry.

Now although high, its a gradual increase, sort of.

I can get over it in the supra which is lowered etc, but not sure about an exige.

Now i’m looking to buy second hand (up to 25k if anyones selling!) so no one is going to let me borrow one to see if its possible.

So the favour, is anyone around the Harrow area? Happy to cover your fuel costs etc.

I have been over loads of speed bumps not once gounded

Now i’m looking to buy second hand (up to 25k if anyones selling!) so no one is going to let me borrow one to see if its possible.

Ill be selling mine in a few weeks time, 05 plate extreme paint, grey, touring pack, a/c etc etc, passed 10000 miles today. Getting 240 cup. dealer offered me 25k for it in px so yours for the same amount.

The lowest point is the front splitter. This has about 4.5 inches ground clearance so if the speed bump has a sudden incline you would hit it if it is higher than that. I have inadvertantly had to negotiate 1 speed bump so far and it was Ok. Also I live on an unsurfaced lane with potholes and haven’t grounded it yet. Hope this helps.

I’ve never grounded my exige on a speed bump, there’s three on the way upto my house! Visiting Saabs and jag xk8’s ground all the time! There’s so little suspension movement on the exige when you hit them at low speed.

Never have grounded on anything. Once the front’s clear you know nothing else will hit as it’s nice and flat underneath!
Think the splitter was designed to be inexpensive so you’d hear that go first and stop!

i have scuffed my splitter a couple of times, but only as i wasnt paying attention. 45 degrees normally does the trick for steeper ones.

You have PM!
