First time out with the Tarox vented and grooved 20mm greater diam discs and Ferodo 2500 pads in stock callipers. (You can see pics of them >here< )
Worked quite well
Posted up a short track vid on Google. It was a little airfield in Germany. On the way there, saw 258kmh on the autobahn only had a short stretch and was still not maxed out when my turn-off came.
First clip shows how some take no prisoners on european track days. Instructions are front car can hold its line and those behind must choose safe place to pass. “Safe” means different things to different people! Personally I prefer to hold back if it could get tight. It’s not a race and you have to pay for your damage…
Dropping some coins under the seat just before I went out on track was not the best thing to do as you can hear in this clip!
Second clip shows a neatly driven 111R with Exige suspension and geo with very grippy Bridgestone semi-slicks. I got past him purely because of the S/C’s extra grunt and the great brakes letting me kill the speed.
Last clip shows the autobahn on the way home only got up to about 240kmh before I had to slow for traffic and tunnel with 100kmh limit. Still considerably better than the M6 though!

Also had a passenger ride in a 240R Cup that had the Tarox discs too. Not as fast as mine, but certainly quieter. The latest Bemani kit has a new map that adjusts the valve timing at a lower rpm, so it is less hectic and also quieter according to reports.
