Best supplier for Exige Race Style Front Splitter

I’m looking to replace the front splitter on my S2 for a longer race style probably manufactured in Glass Fabric as already damaged the original splitter due to speed bumps in my area. Therefore don’t want the more expensive carbon ones.

What is the recommendations for suppliers?

I’ve come across this one from Sunset Signs for £240 painted satin black ! anyone bought these or had any dealings ?

Cheers

Yes I have one of those, they fit fine and look great

I thought the same about the carbon ones that it would be shame to just trash them on speed bumps

I ordered the side skirts as well but haven’t installed them yet as I’m not totally convinced

Cheers Mill,

I’ll go ahead and order 1 then, I’m not convinced of the side skirts either!

I have one too, it’s nicely manufactured and fits well.
It also actually works, giving the front end a bit more grip in fast corners on track. I had it fitted between two outings at Bedford Autodrome and I could tell the difference on the chicane at the end of the long back straight.

And having just come back from Spa, I also reckon it makes a difference around Pouhon - but maybe my driving has improved.

It also fits over sleeping policeman as long as you take them sensibly.
You do have to remember it’s there and allow for it if there are any steep inclines.

Overall I would happily recommend it.

Cheers mate, Sounds like this is the one for me. I’ve sent them an email requesting delivery times and total cost. Thanks for the comments folks

I’ve driven Spa in the Evo but plan on taking the Exige over next year. Love the circuit and road trip around Europe. Do you do Spa with LOT ?

I’ve also been looking at this aswell as a,carbon one.

I think its what’s fitted to this exige advertised for sale??

Hi Kieran,

Yeah it looks like the same one fitted in the link. I was in discussion with Sunset Signs and it turns out the owner drives an Exige S2. They also supply other quality parts not on the website.

Cheers

I’ve done Spa previously with BaT a couple of times and this year with CircuitDays. As it’s a fair distance, I prefer the 2 day sessions and I also prefer to go July-September so there is a better chance of decent weather.

This year I took a major detour down into France and then up to Spa (via Cambrai, Hirson, Fumay, La Roche en Ardenne). It added an extra 3 hours but the back roads were a nice change from the French/Belgian highways.

I’d happily do Spa with LOT if there was a 2 day session sometime between July-Sept.
