Whats the opinion of the masses as to the best seats to watch the race from? Before you come back with from the cockpit of an F1 car i’ll say it. “Its not in my driving or price range”. Thanks
Lucky B’d…!
My ‘home town GP’… great really wherever you want to go!
The circuit is largly open so you can walk around the entire lap if you wish… get there early with a general admission ticket and one of the many bankings gives a great view point… the one just before the back straight especially! Stand tickets are worth the bucks too… at the end of the start finish straight is especially good.
Best bit is the track is still ‘open’ as a public road up till about 5 days prior to the race… so you can actualy drive the entire circuit slowly!!! I have a great photo with my mums car and me on POLL position!!! (Her car is a micra!!!)
Whatever you do, it will be hot, sunny, full of great babes and beer and just a great crack!
Enjoy!
Pete.
Best seats are dustbins on the back straight/long turn just before it.
Seriously!
Get general admin tickets, and grab any one of the plentiful tall green wheely bins that are everywhere and place them on any of the above mentioned grass humps/hills and stand or sit on the them.
I have even had pit passes once and still enjoyed it more on the bins there. Overtaking, corner, large run off, jumbo screen on the opp side of the track - perfect! Vip seating is also on the opp side, so lots of eye candy for your bino’s too
And the Shannons classic car display is right behind you
