I have an Elise that was built by Harry Hockley, Dave Bellerby and Kevin Franks. It has a standard 111 engine & gearbox but full T45 rollcage, racing seats, Proflex suspension, big radiator, extra fans, HID lights, heated windshield, motorsport bodywork etc. etc. The car owes me about 28K and I used it in one tarmac rally, won the class and parked it to switch to Historics. I’d like to sell the car or part-ex for an Elan, 911 or Cortina and am seeking advice on how to go about this. Where’s the best place to reach Elise-lovers looking for competition cars? TIA.
SELOC and Pistonheads is a good start, PH might see some interest from abroad too.
Stick it in the classifieds on:
- Here
- SELOC
- Pistonheads
- Lotus Central
Unfortunately its worth nowhere near 28k. Obviously without seeing and knowing the full spec its hard to value but I’d reckon 12-16k.

I noted that you’d made the switch to historics. One day I’d love to come over for the Barbados rally carnival.
Hey, don’t go populating the uk rally scene with more Exiges! only kidding, it would be good to see it back over here.
You’ve even got me thinking now, nice Honda potential… and I’d decided I wanted to keep my S2
