Now look up the specs for the 037 or the Stratos and compare them to the Exige… now put the S4 engine in them and what do you get… :whistle:

That’s why I’m on my third incarnation of an Exige rally car. I cant go for S4 power with the regs but I’m pretty delighted with the new n/a Honda powered car. It’s exactly the same power to weight ratio as the group 4 Stratos.
Just finished fitting the cage and I took it out for a hoon last night. It’s the first n/a Exige I’ve driven that can light up the rears in the dry in 3rd gear
That is just awesome, some of my favourite cars and the reason why I am a petrol head.
I remember lusting over a Stratos in the early days of driving and thinking I could build one as a kit car…
Still wish I could own one, it is the best looking rally car of all time

No toy budget just now, or it would an S1 Exige 1st, I might just end up dissapointed with the Stratos, it is like not meeting your hero
