Great news Ben!!
minty fresh
Where’s the pics?
Benja’s car did look lovely, as did Marin Edwards’
Proper stylish, the pair of 'em
Sure does look mega Ben! Love the way it looks on those all black tmr’s.
The new paint job looks fantastic Ben. It is now more Grey Squirrel rather than Badger Ben.
I’m missing out - can we have a picture or two?
Yup sorry I put the pics on the Anglesey thread!! Just a couple for now as I only had the car for 48hours before returning it to Martin, during that time I was either in it or at the trackday…no time for pics. When I get it back proper I’ll get lots of pics. The pics don’t do it justice, I think it is stunning, something very special Seeing the pair of them in Martin’s garage before we left for Anglesey…WOW
So as stated on the other thread, the car is…‘grey’!! Its Lambo ‘Grigio Telesto’ and in the flesh it looks so classy to my eyes. A radical change from the previous racecar-esque livery this quite grown up and understated, especially considering the performance of the car underneath. Both the interior and the bay deserve pics too…
Yup I’ve had squirrel, wood-pigeon, battleship,…I know its not the badger anymore but I’m kinda attached to the angry badger artwork. I’ve got some silver badgers printed for the wing end-plates, just not decided whether to put them on.
Here’s the pics from the other thread :
Before we left for Anglesey with Martin’s fine machine :
Good Friday in the hotel car-park bright 'n early in the morning dew
Oh my - that really is something. I LOVE the colour, and the car overall is really striking, I look forward to seeing more. You deserve to be feeling pretty good about that
Yeah gotta say it is something pretty special in my opinion and I’m feeling pretty good about the choices I made
Looking really good, can understand why your so happy. The colour reminds me of a Rallye from old.
Yup it’s so lovely I’ve had to rent a lockup to keep it in, no more on my drive under a cover. In fact Gill told me that Martin would not let me have it back until I’d found somewhere suitable to keep it! Can’t wait…
All gremlins now resolved, I’m on my way to Martin now to pick it up and take it home
ENJOY. As they say.
My turn next once the “Aces”. Recover.
It’s home! The last time it was home was when I left for Spa,…in July last year! Well it’s not strictly home as its tucked up in a lockup I rented for it,…it’s way too nice to leave outside under a cover.
With full power restored it really is absolutely mighty. It was rain/damp most of the way but a short dry portion on the A43 allowed me to remind myself just how savage it is,…3rd, bit of 4th,…short shift and I happened to glance in my mirror as the dusk was lit up by flames it really is a very very fast motorcar.
I’m also super happy with the aesthetics and the colour choice. After filling up I was walking back to it just thinking wow.
I know I’ve said it a lot but huge thanks to Martin, Steve and Gill. I don’t think anywhere in the world would have been able to lavish the kind of TLC that my car has been fortunate enough to receive.
Really looking forwards to driving it and showing it off,…next stop the TLF meet at Brooklands.
Great news, Ben. Make sure that lock-up is well locked up.
Good news Ben
Sounds great - don’t forget a few more pictures
