Wanted to get one of my Audi’s in that colour, they just don’t seem to do it as an option on any car I have bought. I reckon it would look amazing on either an S1 or S2

Yes long overdue. Martin sent me some pics so I’ll get an update out later…
So Martin and Steve have been hard at it with my car putting it back together after essentially totally disassembling it. I spoke to Martin last week and he said he was just off to the anodiser as he’d noticed that the pax footrest was in a bit of a state…this statement alone gives you a clue to the kind of care and attention being lavished on the car.
So the interior went off to Allon White for a pretty much identical treatment to that which Jonny has had done. Mine had the blue centre sections which I’m losing in favour of black. A few extra bits getting the alcatara treatment too. Just realised as I typed this that I must order some carpets off that French dude.
The exhaust is having a couple of mods not least some silencing material would be nice. Those helpful boys at Tullet are making a nice dual exit tailpipe and we’re losing the white badger’s tail.
The engine is back in with a couple of choice Edwards mods to make it all function better and look lovely. Here’s a couple of pics that Martin texted me recently…
They even made a little pedestal to sit the CC reservoir at a more sensible level above the core.
Now the car is no longer in their garage because its at the paint shop I’ve had quite a few suggestions about colour, some predictable (keep it as god intended) and lots of alternatives. I’ve made my own mind up so you’ll just have to see…I think its gonna looks very special 
I spoke to the paintshop today and they approve of my choice.
The final pics of my car in black, white-wrap and bits and bobs removed and ready to go on the trailer.
I really really hope its done for Anglesey so that I can show it off. It won’t be rushed,…if its not ready its not ready but I’m very excited at the prospect of getting it back as I genuinely believe its going to be something special.

I’ve lost the blue inserts and gone for black alcantara and black inserts.
They’re basically like new
The alcantara spreads to the binnacle too…that was Martin’s idea.
In fact its alcantara city! Centre-console, door-cards, etc. JF went painted, I went alcantara.
Its gonna be lovely, can’t wait to get it back.
