Well, perhaps that’s a bit premature, let’s call it a sort of lunar orbit.

To be honest I was kinda tempted to say that if that ends up looking half as good as my Masser then Id eat one of those little bits of tyre that end up on a car after a session on track
However, even with the Duck tape on, its definitely no Europa

Astonishing. I know there are no real scale clues in that picture (or is that a tyre wall to the right of the picture and if so it merely confirms what follows) but if it has four seats and a mid-engine configuration I can only conclude that two of them are dolls seats.
These pictures HERE seem more realistic but even this car doesn’t look much bigger than the M250 - I sat in (and ordered) one of these and there definitely wasn’t room for two more seats.
Nor can I see four seats in THIS idea either.
Just putting four seats in a design doesn’t make it a four-seater. There don’t appear to be any side windows for rear passengers and it simply wouldn’t work IMHO.
Surely the photo is nearer to the new Esprit. Have a look HERE to see what I mean.
I could be completely wrong of course and I’ll probably end up eating humble pie…
You know, actually, I think youre right, about the only comfort I can find though, is that the Eagle does rather remind me of a 308 GT/4, which I reckon is a pretty good sign. Anyone know what the back seats were like in one of those Julian?
Either way, it’ll certainly be interesting to see how it turns out…

Yup, see here

read a quote from somewhere that the rear seats would only be suitable for children up to the age of 9…a very particular market segment.
The screen and wing mirrors look like a Noble.
Re the rear seats, the space is always handy to sling some extra bags if going on a trip, or horror of horrors even a set of golf clubs.
or horror of horrors even a set of golf clubs.
I do believe that space for golf clubs was part of the design spec…but that was the same for the M250 also!

Bloody hell David, you’ve got a good memory…I still hanker after a 308 but still believe I made the right choice in the S1!

Would you like some cream (or gravy) with it?

I know that I am preaching to the converted, but even as a '96 Elise S1 owner x 2, I still believe that the S1 Exige was the best looking car of the lot, and I doubt if they will improve on it.
I do not have one because I need a topless, and they sure as hell will never get down to my 720kg again.

You count! (see nearby thread) The M250 was the best looking - even if it did have space for golf clubs
