taking a mate on his 1st track day/evening
last time i did a LOT evening there most of the drivers were very novice and it was mainly elises, so i think for a first trackday it’s pretty ideal
Agree and that was my thinking plus Bedford is as safe as anywhere can be for a 1st timmer
pretty good eve, was a massive rush all in so didn’t attach the 2nd silencer, get the gopro out or talk to anyone and i think the track ended up closing after 2.5hours so was pretty non-stop while we were there
i got black flagged on my second lap (was only doing 5k in 3rd past the meter by the temp pits), turns out i was 0.1dB under the limit so we could still drive, i pretty much let my mate drive the rest of the time since he was happy pootling past the meters,
i went out for the last 15mins and was clocked at 92dB past the same meter at about 7k in 3rd, the MSV guy was pretty shocked how loud it was so maybe we were the only flag of the night, i thought i was taking it easy since i wasn’t really accelerating (would have been in 4th by then if i was hooning), anyways maybe next time i’ll be more organised and fit the 2nd silencer in time.
Well…worked out ok for me but not my mate.
He went green on the sighting laps and would not get back in the car. 
So I had 2.5 hours all to myself

lol, tbf after the 35min briefing i was ready to go home, felt much slower than any i’ve seen before
