Battery for S2 Exige

Hi, can anyone recommend a long life battery for the Exige? I don’t want to have to swap terminals, but would be interested in a gel type battery.

Many thanks,

Peter

For improved battery performance you should be looking at the Odyssey PC925, this is an AGM type battery that is totally sealed so safe for racing and the like. although this battery has much better cold cranking performance (925CCA for the first 5 sec) it’s actual amp hour is only 30amps measured @ the 20hr rate. This is less than the standard battery which is a 44amp unit. The odyssey battery has very low self discharge rate and can withstand not being charged for upto 2 years ( as long as it was left in a fully charged state to start with ) i would advise connecting your battery to a accumate type battery conditioner as this is the cheaper option.

I’m running an Odyssey PC680 and I’m happy with it. No more acid over the boot floor after a track session. Wouldn’t describe it as long life though. Always have it on the trickle charger when the cars in the garage.
