It’s time I rejoin the fun again after an unusual period for me. I am ashamed to admit I neglected my Exige in the garage for the last 5 months. SORNED for the 1st time in my 6 years of ownership! Before anyone hang me for my crime, I have a valid reason in that I was made redundant at the end of Aug-12.
Well, after coming back from our Thailand holiday in mid-Jan-13, I decided I best look for a job! Good news is that I have found a job and but joining in the contractor rank / blood suckers!! Extra good news is the Exige will be taxed and insured for the road again in March!!!
The job was for an immediate start, but I have a snowboard holiday booked (I kindly let the agency break this news to the employer, he he he), so I should be back on the employment path and driving the Exige again in March!!
Sadly, track days are no more for me, but I will try to attend future day even if just a spectator. Just looking forward to getting out on the road again in the Exige

Felt strange not to be working given I have been working for > 20 years solid. Took the opportunity to chill, MTB’ing, golf, go on several holidays and visited my family etc… Bit bored now, and I am ready to face the real world again
Strange how thing goes, I unexpectedly received a job offer today over a coffee with an old boss which has spiced up the situation.
Extra good news is the Exige will be taxed and insured for the road again in March!!!
