Hi, posted on here a bit a couple of years ago, when I had a S1 Motorsport Elise (thanks to there being a lot more VHPD knowledge here than elsewhere), but not a huge amount.
Well Now I’m back with a bona fide Exige, and couldn’t be happier.
I’ll be at Donington on Oct 8th - if anyone else is going it would be good to meet up (I know MarkyB was, as it was him that persuaded me to book, but he’s had to drop out).
Lol looks like mine actually…Ozzie Fox Mark I was popping over to see Marky, he told me he couldn’t make it but still may actually. Might see if I can get a few laps in my M3, may be a pm session have yet to ask tho…
V8’s fooking ROCK! I was sat in traffic very local at an island yesterday when an old Dodge Charger pulled up next to me going right… totally speechless!
I’m also (slowly) building a Fisher Fury with a V8 under the bonnet.
After seeing the ‘more grunt than grip’ cars at Goodwood again this weekend I’ve given myself a talking to and will be getting on with it a bit quicker this winter - the perfect foil to the Exige perhaps?
Mark, I’m doing Donington again on December 7th with BaT, and will probably do an airfield day or two with Motorsport Events before the year’s out, simply because they’re local.
Mark two things, the wifes car’s in for service on the 8th so she’ll need the M3 so if I come it’ll be in the Exige . I say if but somethings popped up which I need to sort Monday, it might drag onto Wednesday. If I can make it I defo will…I was confirmed but I’ve had to go back on provisional. Later mate.
No chance of the M3 going now…someone just [censored] hit it Having a bad bad day!
Great day at Donington on Weds, the car was faultless.
Well, except for not doing the Craners flat and putting me in the gravel Although that might have been my driving…
I had braided hoses, Yellowstuffs and new brake fluid put in before going and once warm the brakes were fantastic, I made an M3 driving passenger (who asked for a few passenger laps because he was thinking of getting an Exige) whimper and stamp the floor…
Definitely needs a geo setup, but the front wishbones are pretty corroded so I’ll change them and do the geo. at the same time.
EDIT - sorry to hear about the M3, hope it’s not too serious.

Bugger, sorry to hear that Jonny
Mark - glad you are happy with it! Guess your M3 driver incident was at Craner? Not a good one to be a passenger in
