That had crossed my mind but to inject it there, I have to take it on the chin and accept it was a stupid question 
I would have thought it would have been injected deeper within the trumpet/intake manifold, looks to me like you would get evaporation at that point.
Ian, the “airbox” is not fitted, so not a stupid question

At around 1’18 you can see the fuel just “splashing away from the trumpets” I know I’m wrong 'cause F1 engines are immense, but they seem just to spray the fuel into the “air” and let the engine suck in what it can!
