Anybody on here had there VAG diesel remapped for more power? I have my A3 TDi 170 but wondered if it is easy and\or cheap and reliable?

You should have got an S3 with the 2.0t engine, then you could have just given it to JSR to give it 500bhp.
Nice idea but the S3 was a �9k premium and you could not fit a tow bar, both of which were important to me so the 170 derv it had to be. I have heard it was easy to get 200hp from them and a bit more if you junk the DPF (read CAT for petrol cars) from the exhaust, and yes I love power
I had my Golf GT TDI reflashed…
Went for “Revotec” software…
Was initially very impressed , but as time went by the car got progressively slower …
I reckon the front mount intercooler got clogged. Never got round to removing it to sort it as the car was soon to be sold.
