TOTALLY GUTTED that I missed this!!! I was really looking forward to having a laugh with you guys and give the car a good thrashing.
I had the car back together on the Friday night and then when we started it up there was a horendous noise from the new gearbox (close ratio job), so we had to take it out again and strip it to check what was going on. It ended up that the noise was resonance and chattering from the main shaft due to a knackered clutch plate. The centre had started to come out of it.
Any way its all sorted now. I may drive to Donno on Monday to give it a run out. Would love to get on track, but they aren’t allowing race cars.

Did about 6 hours out in mine yesterday playing with the boost and a few other things. 2.2bar was VERY interesting!!
