After I finished giving the car it’s annual bath the other week I was amazed at how much paint has been lost behind the rear wheels after only a few track days.

Rather than fork out for yet more armourfend I thought I’d make my own from the stuff on fleabay.

Spent the afternoon pratting around making templates and eventually came up with something that covers the impact areas and is easy to fit with just one compound curve.

I’ve outlined the covered area with a pen as it doesn’t show up in the pictures.

While I was at it I made a PDF of the template so if anyone want’s a copy let me know. Just print, stick onto your vinyl and cut to shape.
