AP308s on S2 Exige?

I got hold of some AP 308s (which were supposed to be AP 295s) but am concerned they may not fit. I know I need the spacer kit anyway but are they going to be too tight?

Advice most welcome.

I have them on mine under 240r wheels, standard calipers tho but would assume they would still be fine with the AP 4 pots too.

I’ve only got the standard calipers, so sounds like they will be ok. Many thanks.

Bolts and spacers to fit 2 pots with 308mm discs to an S2

Thanks Dave. I will get them ordered.

Yeah easy fit, ive got 315’s under the standard 16" front wheels on my S2.

What calipers on the bigger discs?

lotus/AP 4 pots

If you don’t have an adaptor, presumably the pads would sweep the same area on the 315s as they would on the 308???
It would only be a mechanical advantage if the pad was clamping the periphery of the bigger disc, ie you’d need to move the caliper outwards??? Have you done that?

Which discs?

Pretty much all of he 2-elevens in Lotus Cup UK are running 308mm discs, most with the AP 4 pot. they are running PF rather than AP but lads of room.

Yes, I have moved the calliper out. They wouldn’t fit on without moving the calliper out. A couple of 3.5mm spacers and jobs a good un.

As to what disks they are, John is your man for that. I have no clue. I do remember him telling me they were cheaper than the 308’s though, so a bit of a win win.
