I want to change my front disc (not the calliper I can not by rules) of my exige cup 2006, which one I should buy in AP I mean correct reference.

Also Which Pagid l should use for racing Pagid… ?

I tried the ap 5000 discs in 295mm diameter from Eliseparts but i still had problems at Hockenheim (which is a famous brake killer).

I tried the ap 3000 discs in 304mm but because of the way the caliper has to be spaced, the pad overhangs the disc which causes them to sqeek under light load. It got on my nerves on the road. I never tried them at Hockenheim so i do not know if they would have solved my problems.

I’ve got the 304mm discs on mine and run RS15’s and now no matter how much grief I give the brakes they survive.

But they are noisey on the road, but I try not to spend too much time on road so not an issue for me.

I had AP5000s with RS14s from Eliseparts. Really bad brake judder the first time I took them out after bedding them in properly.

Eliseparts kindly swapped them out for a new set of rotors and RS42s. This worked much better for me with no judder. However, they do squeal like buggery on the road.

interesting, i had the same thing but they offered to change them but did not suggest the 42s maybe your problems where after mine…

They need re-bedding every now and again to stop them squealing.

Go out and give them a spanking for 10mins like you do when you first bed them iin, that should sort them out for at least couple of weeks or so.

Finally I bought 4 disc from FvhMotors Belgium with pagid rs14 after listening that the ap have some problems… The price is 172 Euros each one.
