Hmmm Rich_O - the original pipes look quite small - did they flare anymore after the point where you cut them off? They do seem to be a little lost in the gap. Your conversion looks good though

Don’t get me wrong though, the exhaust performs great and the popping and banging on overun when dropping down the gears is amusing
If anyone is really interested … I have a spare Janspeed “square oval” finisher from a supersports exhaust ( its a single pipe into it - not sure what diameter ) cluttering up some part of my garage -
