I think a guy on Seloc has had this done (Junks). His car is up for sale on Pistonheads at the moment.
Doesn’t sound too promising!!!
Junks car was the first done in the UK. I think he has enough toys so wouldn’t read to much into te fact he is selling Do a search on Seloc and you should find some opinions.
Hangar 111 now have their own demo car as well, so if you are really interested give them a call to arrange a drive. Think they have a demo day at Millbrook coming up soon as well.
I haven’t driven the car myself but those that I know that have reckoned it was “f’ing quick”. I think Performance Tuner magazine had it a few weeks ago, so perhaps there will be a review soon.
Looks very well engineered using a charge cooled Rotrex supercharger arrangement instead of the intercooled Eaton arrangement in the S.
Suggest that if you are interested in an upgrade you try to get a drive in it, and the Katana that Sinclairs are offering. Be interested to hear your throughts if you do manage to drive both.
Both are a fair travel from Glasgow…hence why I was looking to see if y’all had tried it…
Cheers anyway
Sinclairs don’t seem to advertise their kit (not on website anyway)…any idea of cost/performance?
AFAIK the Katana kit doesn’t come with a charge cooler or intercooler, or larger injectors hence the price is lower, but so its the output, but to honest most of the info I’ve seen came from the US. See the Sector 111 site for more info. Also I’m sure frank will be able to provide some info.
Wondering if they will add the proalloy charge cooler, bigger injectors and use the S gotham tune to produce another kit.
Guess at this stage I don’t have anything more to add except, suggest you get on the phone as well as the internet
I believe the performance tuner mag did a spread on a white exige s with the 280 komotec kit, was owned by a guy in scotland who regularly posts on seloc. Might be worth dropping him a line…
His user name is cpia2002 on seloc
Sinclaire have a new website for the Toyota powered car upgrades, I don’t believe it is finished yet but here is the link anyway. Linky
AFAIK there is an intercooled version of the Katana kit coming very soon, still should be well priced as it uses an air to air cooler rather than air to water. Give Wayne a call at Sinclaire for more info.

Yeah…same user name on SE…only difference was he upgraded his S…I’m looking to go from N/A…
I just don’t wanna be first…and find its a whole world of trouble!
Will ask him anyway!

Both the Gotham and the Ronin/Katana use the RC440cc injectors…
There are a few more options coming out… I’ll be testing a new high output twin screw blower shortly…

Sinclaire have done loads of Katana kits already and it is a drive in in the morning drive home the same day conversion AFAIK, I am quite sure all the new parts will be able to be retro fitted to
