Anyone tried this manifold? exige s2

Obviosly its cheaper than the quicksilver, but was wondering if anyone has tried one, whats the build quality etc like?

As the Toyota has a “Learning” engine management you will not see any significant increases in performance by fitting this kind of exhaust or intake systems. There are some reflashes available for the engine management which you can find by doing a search on this site but they are for specific changes like Quicksilver + ITG.

When you say “reflash” do you mean ecu re-mapp? i Know after fitting exhaust,filter,manifold e.t.c you will have to remapp your ecu to benefit the most from them. But i was just wondering if anyone has used this manifold compared to the quicksilver , as its alot cheaper, and with a re-mapp would give near enough the same gains? I have standalone management on my car, and have had to alter this when iv changed specific engine components (cam e.t.c) so pretty clued up. i think thats what you mean? (altering,fuel,air e.t.c)

The Ecu is not an open type that you can easily re-map like an Emerald for example. You can’t just bolt on a few new goodies and get in Re-maped. It doesn’t work that way. Most of is wish it did !

No, im not saying you can just remapp it, you can buy remapped ones, regarding your spec, like these

The one i have got on my car, is not a standard factory part, its standalone, and i can remapp it when i like, its completely different to what im on about here.

IMHO his exhausts are some of the best in the business, I have tried several over my time with Lotus’s and other marks but his passion and the quality of his kit is excellent, I’m sure there have been a few unhappy people but don’t all companies get those?

FWIW I’ve not experienced Jim’s products yet, but from the talks I had with him about a project my company is working on we are impressed with his knowledge and approach.

I am looking forward to fitting some of his stuff when the Exige S arrives.

get a 30 lb torque increase with just a tune…give me a fookin break…The same torque as a supercharged engine

Ade has anyone dyno tested the Tublar header ? From the photo it looks as though the primaries are on the short side…I just added a set of 4/1 headers with 26" primaries and picked up 12ft torque and 10 rwhp without any tuning …come on guys do some testing to verify these claims…

It is my next change after the “gotham” has settled in, I want to do as close as I can back to back runsto see if there is any improvement. I don’t want to up the boost so looking for other ways to hit 300hp at the flywheel
