maybe doing a quarterly or twice-yearly magazine? We could incorporate readers cars, track day write-ups, race results etc. And we could probably have a small-ads section whereby companies could advertise their wares. It could be digitally printed in full colour for a reasonable cost. I would be more than happy to get involved.
Probably been thought of before and scrapped/a rubbish idea!

We are not a “formal” club, & to my mind, that is the way we should remain. We are to all intents & purposes “self regulating”, although Mr Admin very occasionally has to step in. Over the past 7 years exiges.com has continued to be the helpful, friendly, & informative place as originally established by Mr Admin
In reality, the forum is an on-line magazine & does cover the things you mention, but without putting pressure on anyone to actually produce a mag, & pay for its production/postage/collect subs etc.
Just my 2p’s worth, whilst fully appreciating others may have different views to air
Mr Pesky is dead right. Producing a magazine would be a very difficult and time consuming task for little reward.
Of course if somebody wants to give it a go then I say good luck to them, and I’m sure I’d at least buy the first issue to see what it’s like

Contributing here is done by menas of a quick post, and a print would take that away.

Having edited a club magazine for many years I would not recommend anybody starting a club mag unless they are prepared to do 95% of the work themselves, Everybody offers helpat first but that quickly fades as deadlines approach and muggins ends up writing 95%…its a mugs game

Running a magazine type publication is a thankless task, lots of effort for little reward.
Conversely, being Admin of a site like this is a doddle, just let the good people contribute and make it what it is.
