Anyone running these ??

Hi guys, just a quick one, but does anyone run the alloy intercooler and extra air ducts from elise part.com. If so how are they finding it on track. Or is there a better alternative like the forge one ???

If it’s the one I’m looking at then it’s a proalloy kit.
I run this on my s220 and felt a immediate difference under full load. I’ve only done 50 or so miles since fitting it before winter but gpfisher on here had it in his before so may give you more info.

Bought it prior tonight going in fpr a 260 upgrade in the spring.

I also have now a set of larger side scoops as i was conscious i was stealing some of the cool air from the engine / gearbox up to the intercooler.

I read a chap on lotus talk who did allot of data logging with air intake temps with extra ducting and logged some positive results.

don’t forget to trim the letterbox in the rear clam as well, there is ~50% airflow gain from the roof scoop as it is quite restricted

Yeah I forgot that ade

Worth a read when you have a spare half hour

I don’t know what ya on about ade !! In lighten Me please buddy

Thanks for the answer guys, are the pro alloy stuff as good as the forge

Some good pictures on the start on this page.

It is basically removal of excess material from the inside of the rear clam to allow more air from the scoop to the cooler, you need to remove the roof to get at it, that is far easier than it sounds

Yer sweet ade, just read thro it all. Looks well worth doing for 20% increase !! Ish…defo a little mod ill be doing  Thanks pal

Iv got a load of parts being delivered to start getting car ready for some track days !! , iv got
