Anyone know this car

my favourite colour for an S1

AFAIK there is only two in that colour.

Sadly that does not look like either of them

Ted’s car is stunning in that colour.

I’m with Will, one of the best factory colours.

Only know Ted’s in that colour. And the one pictured has a Motorsport rear clam . . .

Deffo not Teds car but got no pictures of the other car, i’d guess its a replica - Is there any other photos available of it?

Geek mode on, it also has a motorsport front clamshell, so probably not a genuine car.

Looks like its well done though, with a few extras tucked away.

Maybe Ted will show up and tell us about the original(s)

Looking at the joint on the rear clam, i’d say that it’s not a S1 Exige

Hi Guys
Many thanks for the kind words about the car, much appreciated.
I saw that car at a Donnington Lotus show a couple of years ago. I don’t know the owner, but he does have some tasty stuff on the car.
Tim, I don’t know how many S1 exiges were built in the Ice Blue colour, but I have only seen one other, so must only be a handful at the most. I have asked a few people from the Lotus factory, but no one seems to know.
By the way Tim I blame you for forcing me on to the forum, with the pointed question directed at me.
Ted

Always nice to hear from you Ted

Sure is, and where’s that lad of yours?

Still around Steve :open_mouth: Busy with work and family commitments but dad and I hoping to join you for the Christmas meet
Regarding the Ice Blue , I agree its possibly the best colour for the S1 :sunglasses: Then again I suppose we are biased.

I totally agree Ted’s car is the absolute bee’s knees S1 colour - it totally compliments the svelte Exige lines

It looks like the car in the OP has 15/16 wheels. If he’d fitted chunkier tyres, it’d look really sweet!

I thought the car looked like it was running standard S1 wheels. One of the reasons it came to my attention was it is running Porsche Boxster Calipers as a big brake kit and doubt those would fit under 15s.

Interesting - wonder what sort of master cylinder configuration is going on then?
