Maybe also a little less likely to be a heat sink?
i went for the 42mm DTH throttle bodies and it completes with the fuel rail. I will get the new back plate made to fit for original airbox.
however are there any benefit of using carbon air horn? cheers
I’d guess it was the weight reduction. What length air horns are you after, I may have some spare 45mm bore ones but you’d still need the 45-42mm 19mm spacers.
thats so little weight that i wouldn’t bother i think…lol…
i am thinking of the 42mm x 90 air horn, are there any other places do it except jenvey? cheers
Also, after a few more research online, i found that the bernard scouse kit does includes everything i need to fit the original injector and fuel pressure regulator, air horn etc which sounds cheaper then i get things separately??
But i do like the original carbon air box so i would love to retain that if i can.
What is everyone experience on this??
Much appreciated
Why dont you give Bernard a call, he may be able to help you achieve what you are after. He’s a great guy to chat to and very knowledgeable.
thanks, think i will do that ^^
Well i did got some feedback from Bernard in the end as He did actually do one long time ago and he will see if he can still find the parts
see below
btw anyone got a video what vhpd run like with the jenvey?
That looks nice^^! Did Bernard give you any idea of price, because he may have another customer on his hands…
Kurt
^^^not yet as he had stopped doing it now i think, but i will let you know as soon as i knows
Laut,
Did you get these ordered/fitted in the end?
Kurt
I m still waiting from bernard for his reply as he will need to find those parts
Kurt
I got a reply from Bernard saying that his kit will need to be bonded to the original airbox but he does offer the kit somehow. I am thinking of other way to do it as one day i may want to return to original configuration using the original airbox with titan
sam
If u need any more info i will pass it on to u…
Yes please, as much info as you can supply, especially pricings (maybe a PM for those). I feel my car is only let down by the Titan T/B’s, and I’ve been in touch with Jenvey but they’ve not answered all my questions (what is it with poor customer service these days?!?)
I’m interested as to why the airbox would need bonding on, that sounds severe! My current backplate is aluminium and was manufactured to the standard spec by a mate, but certainly within my capabilities (though very time consuming).
Tell me all (!)

It’s not the airbox that needs bonding on, it’s an adapter plate needs bonding and riveting to the Lotus airbox to convert the fixings and dimensions to be suitable for use with the Jenvey bodies.
I guess it could be riveted alone with load spreading washers but either way it’s not likely to be reusable for it’s original application.
