Got loads of time on my hands due to garden leave, so might clean the cars up.
Looking to take the swirls off the lotus, does anyone have a DA I could beg/steal/rent/borrow/etc?
I’m way too rookie for a rotary

I’ve got one Tim. You are welcome to borrow it.

What is a Dual Action Polisher?
Thanks, Mike, I was too embarrassed to ask.
'Spose it could be two Boy Scouts on “Bob a job” week
Buy one.
Not very expensive.
I got myself a complete kit from cleanyourcar.co.uk with DA Polisher, two different compounds and two or so different pads. It was around 140-150.
It is super easy and the result is great, unless yoy have deep scratches because then you’ll need a rotary.
cheers for the offer Will, decided to buy one as I doubt I’ll get it all done in one go and I’m sure shipping to and fro will soon add up
Will post up pictures as I go.
This is the one I went for. Fantastic at taking swirls and light scratches out.

yeah the paint on the lotus is marred for a slightly too aggressive clay, and then also being months from a last wash.
Going to coat it so thought it best that it’s cleaned properly first
