Any tips for online car spares?

I have just had to break into my van as the rear door handle snapped off in my hand believe it or not
I managed to get in by cutting away a section of the backplate and using some grips to work the mech. Once in and with the internal door panel out I sussed out that if I drilled a hole in the right place I can push the key through (or something else like a screwdriver) and work the mech like the handle would.
So now after alot of swearing I can lock it and work it almost normally. The question is where is the best place to get car spares online? I have tried flea bay and had no joy.
I could do with diagrams just to check the handle comes with the full mech.
I will call the stealer tomorrow but thought I would see if you could get them some place else before having to pull my pants down.

p.s. I have never broken into a car before but being from Bolton it must of been in my DNA.

Ask ConMcl… ?

I used Breaker Yard when I needed the Celica gearbox as a short term fix

Boothy - just got back from a long weekend in snowdonia mountain biking so only just seen this.

What bits do you need matey ? Let me know and I’ll get you a good price
Also I’ll get some PDF info for you in terms of fitting etc - pm me your email address.

Also what happened with the door handle ? Not heard of them snapping and I’ve got c2000 on fleet at the moment - so sounds odd.

Hi con, thanks for that. Sadly I already ordered one from Perrys Bolton today which should be in tomorrow.
The handle sheared at the bottom where you pull it out. There is a cast pivot mechanism that connects to the bottom of the handle. It sheared on the casting between the pivot and the bottom of the handle.
Thanks again, Andy
