Any thoughts?

I have a TT 3.2 , I had a Revo remap. It’s a keeper, and since buying it , two years ago I religiously keep the car keys in a home safe , whenever the car is not in use.

We live a rural area , but it’s too easy for a scrote to look through a cottage window , see keys, break in , and your car is gone. A home safe stops all that, an incidentally we keep ALL keys for everything in the safe , hanging on a rack , on the inside of the SAFE door.

We also have a Bullmastiff ,who weigh’s in at 170 lbs !!! And BIG sign on every gate to warn optimist scrote’s  that he’s about !!!

Used to hide my keys, now I leave them in plain sight if someone was to break in, that way they can have the car and leave me sleeping, at the end of the day I’m not insured the cars are, they can be replaced

Got to love the 170lb intruder alarm!
We have 2 Ridgebacks with a combined weight of about that!

This. All day, every day. Know two people who had V10 M5’s when they first came out. Really nice area, private road, very secluded, very little crime. One went downstairs to go to work and couldn’t find the keys, then couldn’t find the car. The other got a tap on the head with a baseball bat at 3 in the morning to go and get them the keys. They both leave them on the table by the front door now.

These scumbags are proffesionals and would not think once about giving your dog a centre parting with a baseball bat-fact.
Anyone who thinks the dog would win is sadly mistaken.
I have a 42kg German sheppard that is trained to do man work.
Police talk for grab your arm very very hard (or any other part he feels will be worth it).It would kill me if I lost him to a Baseball bat.
Its only a car - let them have the keys. Or the dog will be dead and the next will be either you or the family with a centre parting…

Well , our local police force , and my son , who is also in the police , say that , a property with plenty of warning signs, about showing ,

  1. The type of dog
  2. That the dog is loose

WILL mean in 99% of cases , that the scrote’s that may be sussing out stealing your car, or burglarising you property , will pass you by , and go for a property without CCTV , and a Bullmastiff… Not surprisingly they will always go for the softer option, plus of course in deepest Herefordshire we don’t having to many roaming ‘ethnic minorities’ looking to ‘do us over’, and of course it’s a known fact that such group’s are notoriously fearfully of dogs, of any breed.

I’m not superstitious , but what the hell, we’ve lived in this cottage for 37 years , practicing ALL above, no break ins, no car’s stolen to date

Fit one of these and fry the bugger!

Or… Fit one of these and burn the bugger!

Someone was selling the bottom photo/ flame thrower one when I was last in Cape Town , they tend not to mess about down there!!!

1% Is to great a chance of me loosing my GSD…
You my be getting advice from the police academy but I have seen what ‘can’ and does happen to dogs in houses that have nice goods/cars.
You have possibly been lucky
They can have my stuff so long as they leave the boy alone.

1st time, baseball bats out side work. White folk
2nd time break in with dog and CCTV warnings. White folk
3rd time scammed. White folk

Podgier mate, the fact you live in deepest brother & sister marrying country means your just naive to big City living…Yarp lol. And good luck to you…

If big city dwelling , now, requires, a private house to have , CCTV, outside shutters on the windows, bars on the inside windows, 6 deadlocks on every door, internal base ball bats to hand, then I made the right move , to move out of Birmingham   , when we did !!

Sounds more like J’burg , is this what the country has come to ??

A news update: Apparently people living in rural area are the most content , with those living in the West Midlands and London the most depressed … Quoted from Office of National Statistics today

The two M5’s weren’t in Birmingham or London. One was leafy Surrey, really nice area. The other was outside London going up towards Stanstead, equally nice spot.
