Anybody in (or even passing through) the Devizes area with an Exige want to earn themselves a case of beer?
Im looking to buy an S2 Exige at the moment but have a small problem; my driveway is quite steep.
I currently have a Westfield XTR2 which I will shortly be putting up for sale, unfortunately Ive always had to keep it at a lockup because its so low I cant get it up the driveway! (before you ask I bought the house afterI bought the car).
Basically Id really like to find out if I can get an Exige up my drive before I buy one. I have seen two different Exiges locally so thought it possible their owners may use this forum.
A local S1 Elise owner very kindly tried his car on the drive for me and it got up easily, my only concern is the fact that the Exige has the notably more prominent front splitter and although the Elise managed I dont particularly want to gamble buying a 30K car only to find it wont quite go!
If any of the local Exige owners are reading this and are feeling generous enough to park on my drive for a moment Ill happily exchange the favour for a case of beer.
I,m sure Ive seen a very similar post on here before from around this region …
i remember cos i drive to Chippenham around 4 times a week in the Artic (Lacock)…
My local council dropped the pavement free of charge to facilitate access to my drive . Maybe ask them the question ?

Thanks for the tip, I’m surprised how accomodating the council have been for you! To be honest I don’t think theres much they could do for me because the steep part of my driveway is actually quite far onto the private section of my property.
I had thought about trying to modify the driveway to improve access but I’m pretty sure that an Exige will get up OK. It’s just a bit awkward for my current car:
