Anyone know anything about this car ?? its a turbo technics 260, it was the car crashed by the valeters last year

Is the chassis a complete and utter right off, or is there any chance of repairing it?

Chassis is damaged where the suspension arms bolt on David, new body tub to repair properly. The car is a cat B (breaker only) anyway so v5 will be cancelled at dvlc.

This one’s definately reached the end of the road

So was it crashed by the guy who was supposed to be cleaning the car or was it nicked by someone else ? They must have [censored] their pants … good

Imagine how often this happens, he would have never known if they hadnt binned it. If you noticed the mileage go up by 100 miles or received a speeding fine via a scamera, how would you prove it ?

I remember it made a page lead in the Daily Mail at the time. It was in November 2005 according to date on the BBC website posted above. So where’s it been until now? Or has it taken the insurers this long to sort out?

The owner has been trying to claim back (unsuccessfully) his losses from the valeting co, his ins co only paid out around �16k but he valued it at �32k
Apparently he’s way out of pocket
