Anglesey, the aftermath

Great video, the weather and track looked awesome.

John and Wayne said they had a good day in my car, even if they did only run it on low boost and John reckoned he was driving Miss Daisy!! lol

Some video up > Anglesey Trackday Exiges.com on Vimeo >
from about 11.30 ish

I’ve added it to the Vimeo Group I’ve created for Lotus videos

If anyone has any further videos to add just upload it to Vimeo then on the Add tab next to the video click the Group Lotus.

Nice vid. One tip try and keep your hands on the wheel at quarter to three at all times when steering, it will help with feel and control.

John and your other mate both looked pretty hard worked in it. Prettty sweaty at times. I offered to help them out, by taking it out for a few laps, but they were very persistent in saying no. I explained that you wouldnt have minded, but they werent having any of it. Have a word with them Sean

Yeah that’s true, McApe asked very, very politely, & even promised to only use 1 hand whilst driving…the other to be stuck through the window waving to his adoring audience (ie the marshalls)

haha, i wasnt THAT sideways. At least i didnt get blackflagged like the last time, for drifting

Come to think of it pesky, you didnt offer me a shot of your beast

I saw a few people videoing on the pit wall and obviously there were many people with cameras running all day, I was wondering if anyone has any footage of me? and for anyone that doesn’t know my car, the Laser Blue S2 with the 240R wheels The one thing I really want is to hear what it sounds like on drive by

Big thanks to Ade for allowing me to drive his car

Glad you enjoyed the drive, when are the AP’s, Nitrons and SC coming then?

low boost is still more power than anyone else though

Thanks Damon, couldn’t figure out how to do that.

Been faffing around with the seating position, I really need to be closer to the steering wheel. I should change it for something suitable, its on the to do list

Does anyone know if Johnny sorted his locking issue out ??? - He’s not still at the circuit is he ?

Does anyone know if Johnny sorted his locking issue out ??? - He’s not still at the circuit is he ?

Yep, they sorted that okay. Jonny is still in N Wales, with his family on holiday.

However, his mate in the 4x4 was involved in a nasty accident (car damage wise) on the road from the circuit to the A55. Apparently the driver of a Cavalier didn’t stop at a T junction & hit the 4x4. I understand that no one was injured. No doubt Jonny will explain more in due course.

Thank the lord here too!!!

My car is now reliable, but I aint that stupid!!

Due to having the slowest internet connection in the world I’m copying and pasting what I wrote in the other thread I know I know I’m a lazy bar stewart although in true Neil_C style he’s pointed out that if I had of listened to him at the track and applied power to the front aux posts it would have sorted the problem Oh and Neil totally priceless you in a round about way calling my mate an ar5shole

Yep totally great day, thanks Rob and thanks D for sorting the curry! Good to see everyone familiar faces and new…

Finally got into my car after being locked out when a nice biker fellow lent me a 2 metre thin metal rod to reset the CarTech button on the dash poked between the window and door seal. I can only guess it must of been sticky fingers possibly one of the children walking around the car park but still all’s well that end’s well, just need to devise a way to unlock the car the next time the isolator activates Thanks to all those who helped btw cheers guys

Who had the Green S2S think the plate was ?? LOT, ding donged with him most of the day and S1EXG…great stuff

Unfortunatley all was not well for my mate and his Nissan Navara which some of you might of seen just down the road from the track towards the A55. A nice young lad taking his girlfriend and parents home from having dinner pulled out in front Dave who hit the lads Vectra followed by the wall before rolling onto it’s side. Both cars were right offs, the Navara was a real mess. Thanks for stopping Pete

Looking forward to the mini meet in October…

As I drew up to the scene it did look very nasty, I could not understand how the Vectra came to hit the 4x4 soooo hard, when I looked over at your car and saw it parked up I did think the worst (as I could only see the back of the car and maybe thought that the front/side had been hit) but was relieved when I asked plod where the driver of the Lotus was and was told he is ok and, ‘’ he’s over there, sweeping up…‘’

I was bored so asked him for the broom, glass was everywhere so did my bit for the day…beats standing around I guess.

I did do an excellent job
