Anglesey Southern Convoy

So for those travelling up on Thu I’m thinking :

M40>>M42(toll)>>M54>>A5

When we get to Snowdonia, based on weather etc we could opt to traverse the EVO triangle.

I was thinking the following rendezvous points :

Meeting Point 1 : M40 Warwick Services
Meeting Point 2 : M54 Telford Services

History says we should set some strict timings and adhere to them eh

I’m thinking we should aim for a gentle pace arriving at about 5:30 in Bangor.

Cracking plan.

I’ll put my car on charge now.

Yes, I wish I had thought of it :unamused:

Southern convoy will be better than the Northern Convoy : fact

And get your tyres fitted beforehand eh!

Get those Northern monkeys off our thread

Oi! We started the idea

Don’t follow JonnyIdon’tknowwhereIamorsurvivedinthedesertfox though!!

Going to be late getting there for me, could be doing a beer order en route

Will be having a looooonnnnnng detour home on Saturday though!

Last year was comedy…I genuinely have no idea where Jonny took us but at least we avoided the A5 which was closed…even though it wasn’t closed

Oh you morning gets

Just a thought here, but won’t all you southerners need to stop for a milkshake or two and maybe even a short snooze to sleep off that half pint of lemonade shandy from the night before?

Best to set off early then

Now that’s what I call a parrrrrrrrrrrtay

Ooohhh no all that sounds a bit rich for us boys, maybe I’ll get the butler to make us a strong camomile and petit four before the off.

Setting off early is a good idea though because it will fook up in some new and exciting way.

We will be there, looks like it will be me Steve (Clio) and Jacqui is bringing the Q3, she will be heading on from the meeting point to go straight to the hotel with Joe.

Careful, ‘better’ can have messy definitions when it comes to convoys.

If better equals picking up Brummies and recreating no over taking road signs with appropriate coloured Exiges (when not doing extreme overtaking) then yes, better.

Do you actually mean? ‘Setting off early is a good idea though because actually it will really just become Setting off
