Wow

Getting excited - Exige now MOT’ed and serviced. Looking forward to one of those old jaunts up the beautiful A5 and a stonking track day!

Every time I see a pic of what the new circuit looks like I just keep thinking about how it would have been if they had incorporated more of the old circuit into it. Like I’ve shown below the dive down from the top of the coastal then the climb back up to radar would have been great.

That long curve across the bottom of the circuit looks to be absolutely flat out all the way through it Looks like being a recipe for some very high speed incidents! Wouldn’t surprise me if they put a chicane in it.

What the photos don’t show, of course, is the change of gradients. I don’t know what they are like in reality either!

However, I’ve got great faith in Richard Peacock’s (circuit director)judgement - he is a very experienced racing driver, & I’m sure that the new layout will be cracking

Is it any longer than the back straight at Donington with a similar corner at the end, albeit in the opposite direction.
