Ok so I may have cheated a little by nipping up two weeks prior for a practise session It was my first time here and I learnt a few things most importantly it can be bloody cold and very very windy so bring yer coats kids!
I know loads of you may know the track already but for those who haven’t been I’ve uploaded a few vids on Vimeo. One of the weather lol and two of laps of the GP circuit. I didn’t take much Video on the day and what I did get was full of traffic (as was the entire day) and very slow but you should see the line well enough. I did have one very quick and aggressive half hour session mid-afternoon - which was nice! Church is great and Rocket I was tought to take tight not wide (I shared Howard Hunt for the day with a 16yo in a Green TVR, fastest car on track easy) which really works leaving most people for dead!

Can’t watch your handiwork, Vimeo says it’s “Private”. Assume you have to make it “public” (or similar)?
Just changed them, should have it sorted a little later!

There is one thing I’ve forgot! There are two petrol stations (35-40min round trip ) back down or up towards Bangor (didn’t use this one) the dual carrage way but the one in Fali Vally (down) accomadates two cars max and is not low easy off front splitter territory…so beware, I scapped and just made it but I have got a Reverie splitter at 120mm.
That’s rreally helpful for those of us who will be there for the first time, Jon!!!
It’s good to know there’s no garage as well!
Cheers
Mark
Okay, so there’s no pit garages at the circuit, never have been, but that hasn’t stopped dozens of Exige owners loving the track for the last 8 years.
Petrol - there are garages in Valley, Llangeffni & Gaerwen (all about a 30 min round trip)which sell Super Unleaded - never had a problem with front splitters (to date, anyway)
Anglesey Circuit has its own “micro-climate”, & it’s not worth worrying about the weather until you actually arrive at the track - it could be pi$$ing down 1/2 mile away, but be perfectly dry at the circuit. Been there 20 odd times over the last 8 years, & I can’t remember having a trackday ruined by the weather, even though it may have rained heavily at some points during the day.
Valley was bloody close under the car mate! But the weather yea totally agree as it was raining elsewhere coming up the coast, just very VERY windy…track is tiptop !
Is it really only 7 getting ups til we drive over there???
Can’t wait!
