Just back from getting my alternator fixed and setting off in a mini NYLOC convoy shortly! Weather today and Saturday looks pants but the Lotus gods are smiling and looks set fair for the big day tomorrow Safe journey everyone
Safe journey fella’s, see you there.
Cheers. I normally do Anglesey on a weekend at briefing is at 9:30 I think, but for some reason I thought it might be different in the week. Turns out I’m right. Unfortunately really, as that means an early start in the morning
Last minute panic! Just getting all my stuff together for tomorrow and the front tow eye is missing from my tool wallet!!! Has anyone got a spare front tow eye I can borrow/buy please?!
Cheers
Graham
Enjoy the day today everyone, looks like the weather is onside"!! Sorry I couldn’t make it in the end. Hope to next year.
cheers
Brilliant. Best one yet. Thanks Ben. ( see you in the bar)
Just got home - what a fantastic day! Enjoyed the driving, met some great people and saw some stunning cars. Still buzzing.
Many thanks to everyone that made this day happen - you’ve done a stellar job yet again. Can’t wait for next year already
Just got back, we had a fantastic time.
Can’t wait until next year now
Wonderful day. And such a treat to meet up with all our fellow Exigers.
Many thanks to you, Ben, and to BookaTrack and all involved.
Ben, et al,
Great day. Thanks very much, weather was super kind to make up of last year.
I recommend by usual hotel for next year. Close to the track, safe parking, petrol near by, fresh seafood in the restaurant, good beer and a double room for £65.
Hotel Nany Yr Odyn.
Brilliant day, My 1st time on track at Anglesey and loved it. My little Red Elise performed perfectly once I got used to its new boots.
Thanks to Ben and all for organising and count me in for next
By the way, I got mistaken for Jonnyfox, How could I be that legendary
Thanks for organising again - fantastic day and the weather couldn’t have been more different to last year. Great to meet friends old and new and to stretch the car’s legs a bit - at least as far as my brave pills would let me! Sadly I think the drive home today is going to be a bit “weather challenged” so hope the guys get some track time today.
Really enjoyed the day.
Great track and very well organised.
Another great Exiges Anglesey day.
Thanks to Ben and BAT for sorting such a memorable day and great that Mike nominated Gill as such a well deserve recipient of the Con red caliper.
Wish my Elise had a bit power go on the straights
Ace drive up in convoy, moderate clip through the A5 with a pint waiting at the other end. Over to the ‘Trac’ and the Sun and wind came out to dry the track off. First session out, tweek of the tyre temps, and back out for an epic session; loved chasing Lord Beadsmore around in his Honda 2-eleven and slowly Anglesey is coming to me now.
Then a digga-digga-digga vibration from the back, arse. Jacks out, looking at joints etc but nothing seemed too amiss however was still vibrating on the road. Parked up and that was that. I’m a firm believer that good luck and bad luck balance out in this world, and was glad I could get Chris’ car going again with a random fitting in my toolbox that was required to deal with his fuel pressure reg that was pissing fuel out.
JF very very very. Very. Kindly lent me his R300 for a play, and even had it colour coded to my jacket and shoes! Great fun and it’s a very infectous ownership proposition. Ben looked to be having a hoot, as did Dave. My CV eventually exploded on the A55 with a bang, and we limped it to the hotel with it giving up drive just as I got to the inclined in ramp. Many many thnaks to the Will and JF for the push up the hill, and sorry for the prolonged tour of the car park; moments like these make you realise just how good a group of guys we have on these days!
So waiting for the AA, sadly my booked guy at 10am was just a normal AA van, but that also I don’t have recovery on my policy, doiuble arse! £600+ later and I’m now waiting for my first leg of the relay race to arrive, thankfully it won’t be a shitty beavertail like Steve had turn up.
Will keep you updated!
Drive home was less eventful than I expected - 3 hours door to door.
Great day, perfect weather, no bell ends anywhere, just a bunch of good people enjoying their cars. I’ve not done the exiges good Friday event for a couple of years, thoroughly enjoyed it.
I hope the guy in the Noble made it home safely, he was stopped in a precarious position on the dual carriageway with the traffic Wombles about to put cones around him. Looked like a car problem.
Yeah awesome day. Huge thanks to Ben and Jonny for letting me have a blast in their R300’s.
Great job on the organisation Ben!!!
Was great getting out on track sitting next to my son for the first time. He really enjoyed it and thankfully didn’t break his Dad’s car.

Was in layby with AA when we went past. Barry must have shares in the AA
I really enjoyed the day & evening before.
My car went well aside from terminal understeer. Considering it hadn’t been touched for months it was just a case of jump in and enjoy
Apologies again to Mr Cruickshank for the close call
