Jesus - that’s one for the black museum - what does it look like on the other side?
Looks like the studs were holding it together. Must have ripped the pads apart.
hahahaha

Bloody hell… have to say, it was going very well that S2000.
John would still use that on his Seat I reckon!!
It cracked through one half only. The crack did not open up until the nuts where loosened so luckily the half day old pads survived.
It does really shift, the fact that it is 1200+kg and probably about 260bhp surprises me.
Was that the same corner where the tyre came off the rim after the spin?
I think it was a rear tyre that came off the rim.
I was following him when he went off, quite an exciting departure from the black stuff!
Are they OEM discs or aftermarket? Just wondering what the seller would say if you took it back?
The passenger, also my friend said it was quite an alarming departure across the grass… he actually grabbed the handbrake to slow high speed reverse once it spun.
I was actually catching him at the time with his girlfriend in my car and thought I must of missed him nipping into the pits or that I had not just seen him!
They are Stoptech discs and had done two trackdays…
Phil
2 days!!!
Wow…although I have heard some very variable reports of Stoptech stuff over the last 10 years
Some, somewhat shaky, video from inside the Orange Audi Exige … yes I was driving and its not great but it kinda shows that its very different to a Honda engined variant …
Oh and the flashing red lights are because I set the oil pressure high warning too low
Cool vid!
What a lot of funny noises!
Nice driving Andy - goodness me, your mota is very, very quick

Its all Seans fault … it is his “old” engine and 'box after all …
Awesome Andy great to see the car back in circuit and running so well.
As I said at the time, I was sitting up in the banking by the pits and the way the car launched itself out of the hairpin  it was noticeably the fastest thing out there. Well done to all involved.
You using a pin hole camera?
Er yeah almost … it was actually a Canon G8 camera in HD video mode … mounted not very well …
