Angelsey Sat 22

Big thanks to Zoe, RussT, Pesky ( cheers for the “Honda feeling” ), Tony etc for the day yesterday.

Had good fun and Jude got up to 3rd gear on her last session

Yep, add our thanks to the pile.

Great day had, hooning around the track.

Andy: Fiona thought she’d caught and passed you on track till she found out it was Jude

Anyway got some photos from the day.

Guys & Gals,

Thanks to everyone who came to the day, we all thought it was an excellent atmosphere and 99% of people went home happy.

I would just like to point out that Zoe did most of the work to get the thing together, and she has put in an awful amount of time and effort, so all I did really was turn up and prat around in the paddock.

I hope there will be another one in the summer if there is enough interest - I think the circuit has to take a lot of credit for running the day so well; i.e. instructors, Richard Peacock, catering etc etc.

Also ta to Pesky, Tony and Beryl for helping on the day - when most people are complete beginners it helps to have a friendly face to ask questions etc.

Top tip from the day :- Check you are out of gear before starting your car. Easily done though and just thankful there was a beetle parked quite close as it could have gone off around the car park for a spin on its own. Don’t laugh, I know of aeroplanes that have taken off pilotless in similar circumstances…
