And Todays Dyno/Mapping results are?

Well today started off quite badly for me work wise, then on way to aylesbury to get the car mapped, I got a puncture on my Audi Q7 and due to the wonderful way the space saver is deflated changing the wheel on the hard shoulder of the M25 at 9.30am was not pleasant.
Only to find the electric pump that is in the boot wouldnt blow the tyre up as there was something wrong with it.
Phone calls to RAC and several more bollocking them for not turning up, 4 and a half hours later I was on my way again after john said to call guildford tyres and they sent a guy out to me who thankfully was in cobham so took 15 mins to get to me and pump up my space saver.
At that time RAC turned up and guy tells me they only got the job 15 mins before… I wasnt happy.
Anyway guildford tyre guy tells me all 4 tyres are shot as the alignment is out on the car and thats why the outside edges are worn down and the inside edges had the banding poking out of them yet there was loads of tread in the middle.
So had to get john to order me 2 new tyres and 2 more on the way, not cheap at over 300 each becasue of the size!
Anyway turning up 5 hours late to the dyno the car had all ready been mapped.
I have the map in the car will up load later.

This is the new look inside the car at the back that proalloy have worked on.
New airbox, 2 new rads for extra cooling in each side pod and twin fans in the front, no cooling issues now.
On to the good news after a very crappy day, with the new turbo the car made 602BHP at 7500rpm with torque just below 500.
Happy with the results, the map is much more linear and will be far nicer to drive.
Low boost setting is 515bhp and high is 602bhp just incase I wish to save some petrol!
Cheers for the cover david also, picked it up on the way home and popped the money through the letterbox as suggested.
Off downstairs now for a glass of wine!!
Will have to change the name of the car now too!

Christian

I wonder what effect the length of plumbing has on lag/performance…& look at that U bend :astonished:

Worst “i’ve got a Q7 thread” ever btw

Well done JSR and Christian awesome result :sunglasses:

I just hope nobody builds a 603bhp one dude

What turbo is that using now?

Bloody hell, that’s awesome, mate! :sunglasses:

PMSL @ Tim & Q7

I think it’s now on a GT3582 with 4 inch inlet and .82 exhaust housing?

Is that right Christian?

The engine is a 2.2 litre as well isn’t it?

Ha Ha no its not a gt3582, and its the larger housing, engine is 2067cc
Oh and you know if someone builds a 603bhp one ben what will happen…

Aaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!! Noooooooooooooooooooo!! Don’t think I could take more upping of the power!

Plumb in some nitrous and wire it up to the horn push

You know Sean’s will be 650 now.
So is it still a gt30 turbo or gt35?

Great result John and Christian

Jaw dropping

Used to go through a set of tyres a year on Fee’s Q7 Chris, outer walls worn, middle and inside loads left! Lol they all do that apparently sir…

Car looks awesome mate :sunglasses: gayest thing I’ve ever seen

Incredible. I still think my 177 is enough!

That’s 22 bhp more than me …

In my feckin truck !!
Not at all jealous

Dude is that all ? Turn it up…chop chop

Beg/borrow/steal a VBOX, get access to an airfield and let’s have some truly comparable figures for say 30-100mph.

Fair play guys!!!

Sorry i didn’t call you back yesterday mate, had a really busy day on. I will call you later.

Good to hear you were busy picking up the SunStrips mate!

Awesome , it must be bonkers to drive .
