I’m with Chris here. Water injection is not a good thing, and only masks deficiencies in your inter / charge cooling system. At the end of the day, injecting water into the intake charge is only going to cost you power and as Chris states if you begin to depend on it at certain charge air temps and pressures, it could all end in tears if something goes wrong, or your water injection tank runs dry.
Water injection does need to be mapped in the ECU, and if you are doing that, you may as well just retard the ignition to stop detonation.
